Due to the high possibility of icy weather and hazardous road conditions across the Dallas Fort-Worth metroplex, Greenhill has made the decision to cancel classes and close school down on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022.

The severe weather is supposed to begin sometime this evening and will most likely continue all the way throughout the day tomorrow.

This cancellation includes all regular school day and after school activities, and classes will not proceed remotely tomorrow.

While not all after school activities were canceled on Wednesday, Feb. 2, most sports made the decision to cancel practices and the majority of activities were canceled or moved to a virtual setting.

Greenhill administration will continue to closely monitor the situation throughout today and tomorrow and the decision on whether or not the cancelation will continue through Friday will be made on Thursday.

All Dallas Independent School District schools decided on Wednesday, Feb. 1, that school will be canceled on Thursday and Friday and students will not be expected to make up these days.

As further updates on the status of school on Friday come in, they will be sent through the Greenhill BrightArrow texting system, the Greenhill website, and can be seen via local news stations.
