Last Friday, Oct. 15, was Senior Night at Greenhill for the football and volleyball teams.

The Greenhill football team had their final home game of the season against the John Cooper School. Additionally, the Greenhill volleyball teams had their last home games of the season. Boys volleyball played St. Mark’s School of Texas, and girls played Nolan Catholic High School. While field hockey did not play a game last Friday, their last home game was Tuesday, Oct. 19, against Trinity Valley School.

This week, other than cross country, Greenhill’s fall sports take on Casady School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The teams will leave Friday afternoon for the games and return late Friday night or after midnight on Saturday. Greenhill provides buses for all the sports, and one for students who wish to go to the game.

“I’m pretty excited to go play at Casady,” said sophomore Brandon Polk, a slot receiver for the Greenhill football team. “It might not be super fun for the cheerleaders because they have to drive three hours just to have to go watch on the sidelines, but I’m looking forward to the drive.”

While Greenhill Cheerleaders will attend the football game on Friday, they will not be performing at halftime since it is Casady’s homecoming game.

“My favorite part about being on the bus has got to be Jaden’s freestyling,” says Polk about his teammate, junior Jaden Watt.
