Donors plan to “Rock the Future” at the upcoming Greenhill Gala, on Saturday, Mar. 2. The glam rock-themed event will hold a live auction and raffle draw, with all the proceeds going to the Growing Stronger Together campaign.
This event will be held at the House of Blues, a live performance venue, with a VIP pre-party in the Foundation Room. The exclusive pre-party is only available to sponsorships above $500 and will include entertainment, dinner and a premium bar.
The Decades Band, a North Texas party band, will perform as musical entertainment.
According to the band’s website, they deliver “an electrifying mix of chart-topping hits from the past and present.”
Along with this, Professional Auctioneer and Benefit Auctioneer Specialist Andrew Bost will lead the night’s main event, the live auction. With his focus on non-profit fundraising, Bost will help raise money for Greenhill’s STEM and Innovation program, as well as the Athletics Department.
As for attire, the Rock the Future Gala hopes to inspire attendees to wear sequins, leather, metallics, leopard print, sunglasses and feathers.
This glam-themed event will start at 6:00 p.m. for VIP guests, and 7:30 p.m. for general admission guests.
The Auction Committee and Gala Chairs Rachel Nosnik and Maggie Zamanian have procured donated items, in addition to the many raffles, including a $5000 NorthPark Mall gift card.
Through these donations, the GSTC will be much closer to the fundraising goal of $85 million.
“We’re so excited to rock this gala,” Nosnik said.
