On Thursday, Nov. 2, the first day of the fall Southwest Preparatory Conference Championship Tournament was held in Fort Worth at Fort Worth Country Day School, Trinity Valley School and Oakridge School.
Greenhill competed in various sports: field hockey, boys volleyball, girls volleyball and cross-country.
Boys Volleyball placed second overall in North Zone, giving themselves a bye for day one of the SPC Championships. The team will compete today against the third-place overall team of South Zone at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
Field Hockey entered the tournament as the six-seed and played the three-seed Episcopal School of Dallas. Field Hockey lost their game against ESD with a score of 0-5. They will continue their tournament today against The Awty International School which will take place at Oakridge.
Girls volleyball was ranked as the fourth seed and started their tournament out by playing the fifth seed, St. Johns School. They lost the game after three sets. They will compete on Friday against ESD at FWCD.
Boys and girls cross-country will compete in their respective races on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Performance Ranch. The girls team will run at 9:30 a.m. while the boys will run at 10:30 a.m.
