On Saturday, March 5, 2022, the Class of 2022 will be hosting a car wash at the Marshall Family Performing Arts Center parking lot from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as their annual fundraiser for their senior gift. The suggested amount for donations is $10 but everyone is welcome to donate more.

As per tradition, every year the senior class hosts a fund-raising event to purchase something as a gift to give back to Greenhill. This year the seniors have decided to host a car wash to raise these funds.

Senior Class President and chair of the Senior Gift Committee Will McDonald mentioned that this year was different for the senior class because normally the students start fundraising their junior year of high school and they are normally made by selling homecoming t-shirts.

“Due to COVID-19 we didn’t have homecoming last year so we couldn’t sell t-shirts,” said McDonald. “So, the committee decided that a car wash would be a fun and cost-efficient way to raise money.”

Seniors are participating in this car wash on a volunteer basis and will be selling baked goods made by the family of senior Caroline Greenstone at the event as well.
