Greenhill Winter Athletes Take on SPC. Here are the Highlights

The winter SPC tournament weekend is shaping up to be an exciting week for Greenhill Hornets.

Swimming

The Greenhill swim team broke many records yesterday in Lewisville. Theo Johnson (Class of 2021) broke the Boy’s 50 Freestyle school record. The team also broke the Boys 200 Freestyle Relay Record (Theo Johnson ’21, Jackson Benners ’23, Ethan Brockett ’20, and MJ Ward ’21). As well as the Boys 400 Freestyle Relay Record (Theo Johnson ’21, Jackson Benners ’23, Ethan Brockett ’20, and MJ Ward ’21).

Junior MJ Ward placed second in the Boys 100 Backstroke. Junior Josh Fountain placed second in Boys Diving. Finally, Theo Johnson placed second in both of his events.

Boys swimming placed sixth overall in the SPC meet.

 

Boys Soccer

Boys soccer came out with the win against Awty. They will be facing off against Kinkaid later today.

 

Girls Soccer

Girls soccer came out with the win Awty. They will be facing off against Episcopal high school.

 

Boys Basketball

Boys basketball came out with the win last night against St. Andrews. They will be facing off against Episcopal High school later today.

 

Girls Basketball

Girls basketball will be facing off against Oakridge.
