New “Mask Encouraged” Policy Will Be Implemented After Thanksgiving Break

On Friday, Nov. 13, Head of School Lee Hark sent an email stating that masks will be optional coming back from Thanksgiving break.

This policy will be in effect beginning Nov. 30, and students who are fully vaccinated have the option to attend classes without a mask. However, for students that are not vaccinated, masks will be required.

According to the email, Hark plans to move towards mask encouraged on Jan. 18, 2022, but only with the stipulation that COVID-19 in the Greenhill community and in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex decline.

“As we have shared since the beginning of this school year, if positive trends continue, we will look to adjust our other COVID-19 protocols, but for now, all other protocols will remain the same,” Hark stated in his email.
