Boys basketball started with a 3-1 record, only losing to John Paul II High School by five points.
They are the number three private school team in the state according to the University Interscholastic League rankings and proved to be the Hornets’ first challenge of the year. Junior Dillon Watt has been leading the team this year with multiple 20-point games.
The team will travel to play in the Grace Prep Tournament this weekend and then will travel to Nocona, Texas for next week’s tournament.
The varsity girls basketball team won against Parish Episcopal School on Nov.28. Junior Vivian Franklin, a new student at Greenhill, paired with senior Sibelle Zambie has led the team thus far. The girls will be traveling to the Bishop Lynch tournament this weekend.
In the varsity boys soccer team’s most recent game against Home School Athletic Association on Nov. 28 the two teams were tied 2-2 before junior Liam Fagelman scored a goal with 10 seconds remaining. They will leave for Houston on Thursday for the St. Thomas tournament.
The varsity girls soccer team lost to Ursuline School 4-0 on Nov. 29. They will also be heading south as they are going to Austin for a few games this weekend. Senior Devin Davis tops the girls soccer team’s young roster.
