Several Greenhill School students received awards for their achievements in Chinese language and culture.
Honors included freshman Gabri Blankson and Aanya Krishnakumar, who earned silver awards in the 2025 CLASS Poster Contest. In the 2025 CLASS National Chinese Speech Contest, sixth grader Fiona Qu received honorable mention in the 6-8 heritage group, and a silver award in the essay contest, where eight grader Adam Tawil also earned a silver award. Sophomore Elise Nelson placed second in the talent contest for non-heritage singing.
Other recognitions included Qu, senior Ishaan Kandoth, seventh grader Jennifer Lei, senior Michelle Akins, and seventh grader Carson Yoo for martial arts and instrumental performances. In the 2025 North Texas TI Cup Chinese Speech Contest, first place winners were Qu, third grader Ivy Lui, and sophomore Vivian White, with second place going to senior Saida Bidiwala and third place to second grader Laurel Chen.
