The Association of Texas Small School Bands Regional Jazz Concert took place in person on Nov. 16 at Legacy Christian Academy.

Senior Kaden Nathani was one of the students who auditioned to be part of the concert back in Sept. 2021 and was accepted into the band.

The auditions were held in person for the first time since they were moved online due to the pandemic in early 2020.

“Since the auditions were the first in-person live auditions I’ve had in over two years, I was very nervous,” Nathani said.

The Jazz Band played “Pink Panther”, “Birdland”, “Fallen Angels”, “Little Sunflower”, and “Splanky”.
