On April 25, Greenhill hosted two alumna, Kathryn Hamm ’87 and Priya Krishna ’09, for a panel discussion with Upper School students about their experiences at Greenhill and in their respective fields.
Hamm and Krishna were two of the three alumni, along with Scott Rothkopf ’95, selected for alumni awards this year. Rothkopf and Krishna received the 2024-25 Distinguished Alumni Award, and Hamm was the 2024-25 Alumni Service Award recipient.
After the panel, Greenhill hosted a celebration in Montgomery Library for the recipients.
“In the evening, we invited the entire Greenhill community and the wider Dallas community to join us in celebrating,” the Director of Alumni Relations Katie Young said.
Greenhill has hosted alumni events before, and according to Young, it is important for current students to see successful graduates.
“We thought the panel would be a really nice way to show students how a Greenhill education can translate into success wherever you go after Greenhill,” Young said.
Young said that assemblies are not the only time alumni interact with current students. They also help with events like the What’s NEXT Pitch Night and serve on panels for classes, such as in Finance and Accounting.
“I work with Upper School administrators to incorporate alumni interactions with students throughout the year,” Young said.
Many Upper School students said they appreciated being able to watch and interact with alumni during the assembly.
“I really enjoyed the panel and would like to have more experiences like this one,” said sophomore Natalia Serrano.
