This time last year seniors were gearing up for their last Homecoming football game. Although this year, Homecoming wasn’t able to occur as it had in previous years due to COVID-19, the senior breakfast and wildflower stomp still took place with new precautions.
This morning, the entire senior class was invited to the annual senior breakfast to commemorate Greenhill’s last home, football game of the season. Students were offered breakfast tacos, cinnamon rolls, and more to celebrate.
Seniors were given their senior sweatshirts and also seeds for the Wildflower Stomp. The seeds were given to each senior so they could plant the flowers outside of the Lower School. Safety protocols were in place including mandatory mask-wearing and social distancing.
“It was really fun to see everyone that I had not seen in a long time, said senior Jordanna Goldstein.
All seniors were also invited to the Homecoming football game tonight against St. Marks. Many are looking forward to watching their team play in-person for the first time this season. For all non-seniors, they will be able to watch the football game on a live stream starting at 6:30 p.m.
