The drive from Greenhill to St. Mary’s Hall in San Antonio takes approximately four hours and 37 minutes over 278 grueling miles according to MapQuest. Sitting in a crowded bus for that amount of time might suck every last drop of energy out of an entire team.

This was not the case Sept. 5 as the varsity field hockey team returned from San Antonio with a 7-0 win over St. Mary’s Hall.

The team has encountered success, but because of the recent rain that has swept through the area over the past few weeks, the field hockey team has had three games postponed and even one game cancelled.
