Baseball

 

The baseball team failed to qualify for Division-I (D-I) of the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) tournament this year and was placed in Division-II (D-II). The team got off to a quick start against St Andrew’s Episcopal School in its first-round matchup, scoring six runs in the first inning before winning 11-1.

The day was April 5th. The temperature was mild outside with a few clouds scattered about. It was a perfect day for baseball in Texas. Unfortunately, I was stuck in the library with my eyes glued to my laptop as I anxiously watched the online box score update as the Texas Rangers trailed in their season opener.

Boys' tennis continues success, wins SPC PDF Print E-mail

After narrowly losing the championship last year, the boys’ tennis team won the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) Division-I (D-I) title this season. Playing at Texas Christian University (TCU) on April 29-30, the team beat Holland Hall School 5-0 in the first round.

With six years of experience playing lacrosse on a competitive level, Chantal Geiger, Girls’ Lacrosse Head Coach, comes to Greenhill hoping to make an impact in her first year by teaching the team skills that are not only important in sports, but also in life. 

Her experience includes playing on the University of North Texas Women’s Lacrosse team and coaching new players to the team.
